THE SWAN COMMUNITY HUB HELPS RESIDENTS OF BUCKINGHAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS CONNECT WITH LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUPS AND SERVICES

We help and encourage organisations who have common interests in creating and sustaining healthy communities in Buckingham and the surrounding villages. This website exists to enable those in search of local services, facilities and community activities to find out what is on offer in Buckingham and the surrounding MK18 area.

We believe that the wellbeing of the community is dependent on professional organisations working closely with the voluntary sector bringing a strong sense of community.  We keep a close eye on the things that are happening in our area and the aspirations of those in the voluntary sector.  By doing so we can help by bringing together those with similar interests. Building Community

We see that if we encourage the community and those within it to take responsibility for their own wellbeing we will cause the community to become stronger and more supportive of those who live within it.

This may mean enabling people to use computers and go on line; it may also mean supporting those organisations who want to make a difference to any sector of the population.  Whatever today’s needs we will consider how we can help and enable others to deliver.
