The annual Buckingham Dog Show is back. Will your dawg be crowned the best pooch in town? Registration will start at 11 am and judging will commence at 12 pm. There will also be a host of doggy-based stalls and entertainment to browse.

Set in the historic garden of Ondaatje Hall, courtesy of Buckingham University, author, Philip Robinson who also cares for this historic Buckingham garden, has selected poetry and prose from his anthology, the Faber Book of Gardens. The music will include a rare performance of the Bees Madrigal by the 17th Century Buckinghamshire born author, Charles Butler, who wrote The Feminine Monarchie; the first authoritative book on beekeeping published in 1609. Pimms will be served, and the audience is invited to make a voluntary donation towards a Buckingham Jubilee tree for the Queen’s Green Canopy.

Udo Dolz, who is a local resident and member of Buckingham Acoustic Club, will be playing acoustic fingerstyle and classical guitar at the Flea market, while Simon Says Magic will be putting on a fantastic show for children outside the Old Gaol.
This event takes place as part of Buckingham Fringe Week 2022
This is another Buckingham fringe Week activity. Art in the Market gives you the opportunity to see professional and amateur artists creating art, learn about their work and have a go at creating your own masterpiece. Meanwhile, Buckingham’s first Giant Art Attack will take place outside the Old Gaol.

As part of the Buckingham Fringe Week activities, the Oxford Fiddle Group will return to the Radcliffe Centre to perform songs from England, Scotland, Ireland and the USA. Tickets are available from the Tourist Information Centre in the Old Gaol or can be reserved in advance, for cash-on-the-door, by calling 01280 823 020.
An afternoon of family fun at Lace Hill Sports and Community Centre, including a craft market, activity stalls, traditional games, inflatables, circus skills workshop, beat the goalie, Korfball, live music performances, food, bar and more! Some stalls will be able to take card payments but please bring cash to support small businesses.
This is an outdoor event so please dress for all weather eventualities. It is family friendly, FREE and suitable for all ages. Pack your blankets or bring a chair so you can enjoy the day in comfort.
St Mary & St Giles band perform classical music at the ancient Cattle Pens flea market area, while stilt walkers will be entertaining visitors in Market Hill outside the Old Gaol. This event is part of Buckingham Fringe Week 2022
The Buckingham Fringe Week is a week of events taking place in various locations around Buckingham from Saturday 16th to Saturday 23rd July 2022. So far events include a children’s skate park day, the return of the Oxford fiddle group, market entertainment, a family fun day at Lace Hill Sports and Community Centre, Mikey Dyson’s big quiz night and live art in the marketplace.
The Buckingham Green Spring Fair will be held at the Cattlepens in the town centre.
There fair will have sustainable products, a floodmobile, food waste experts, fun activities and more.
